The Mexico FTO Chiapas is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Grupo de Asesores de Producción Orgánica y Sustentables (GRAPOS), a farmers’ group operating in the municipalities of Unión Juárez, Cacahoatan, and Tapachula located within the state of Chiapas, Mexico. GRAPOS has invested in nurseries to support farm renovation, and diversification initiatives including a women’s knitting program and a mushroom cultivation project aimed at creating alternate sources of income.

This organic and fair trade certified coffee has a delicate and fresh aroma. The body is light and mild with subtle fruity and nutty flavors. The acidity is bright, but not overpowering.

Wonderfully flavourful roast perfect for press pots.

Whereas an ideal roast for espresso is a medium/city roast, a press pot shines when using a darker roast if a smooth rich bean with a full brewed bouquet is used. This bean and roast really fits the bill.
