I was disappointed with the time it took for my order to be roasted and shipped and then upset that it was shipped with the cheapest slowest shipping service available when the shipping charge was $15 or having to spend a lot of money for the free shipping. I did get over this after realizing that you can't really drink coffee right off the roaster anyway (I'd recommend putting something to this effect on your website to set expectations) and it needs to sit to offgas so the slow shipping service isn't really a problem but I would think the shipping price or minimum order size for free shipping could be reduced.
The coffee itself was hit or miss. The PNG was absolutely delicious, guatemala and sulawesi were excellent. Sumatra was way too burnt and Bali had no flavor. I am glad to have found the good ones though and am sure I'll order more of those at some point.
Since I first tried this dark roast blend it has been my default go to coffee. I have knownTodd since he started roasting in a small storefront in a shopping plaza near my apartment complex. They do an excellent job and take pride in their product.I’ve tried over other coffees over the years and I’ve always come back. I have recommended this to several people and also shared it with them. I think I’ve gotten some converts. I love this coffee!

10 day turn around time. I ordered with 18oz left from last order & ran out. I drink 2 20oz a day.

The word “craft” is used to describe too many things these days. I will substitute expert. The coffee I receive on subscription is always expertly, freshly roasted and arrives sealed and ready to enjoy. Certain national chains over-roast coffee that should not be. These guys do it correctly every time.

I like the coffee very much. I would like to change my order to just three 1 lb. bags of french roast but can't figure out how to do that.
