Colombian Supremo

High in the Colombian Andes, coffee trees cling to steep mountainsides where rich volcanic soil and gentle rainfall shape beans into something extraordinary. The name Supremo isn’t just a title—it refers to the largest, most carefully sorted Colombian beans, prized for their size, uniformity, and balanced cup. For generations, family farmers here have tended their lots with skill and pride, cultivating coffee as both livelihood and legacy.

Our Colombian Supremo is roasted Light/Medium to highlight everything this origin does best: a heady aroma that greets you before the first sip, a silky balance of milk chocolate and caramel, and a bright lift of red cherry. Medium body and a lively yet approachable acidity create a cup that feels smooth, elegant, and endlessly drinkable.

At Roast To Order Coffee, we keep Colombia’s promise of freshness intact by roasting your coffee only after you order, then shipping it within 24 hours. That means when you brew it at home, you taste it as it was meant to be—fresh, vibrant, and alive.

I have shared this coffee with many of my friends and coworkers, and they love it, especially when you drink it black you can really taste the coffee beans and aroma.

Not your grocery store Colombian

This is an especially fine bean and roast for press pots. Dosed at a slightly rounded ? of a cup or 34 to 35 grams before grinding at slightly coarser than medium (not the recommended coarse), this makes a well balanced, rich cup. This is not your grocery store Colombian.

Breaking the pattern

Having lived in Europe for 30 years, when I come back to the states I go through coffee withdrawals. In Europe it is a known fact that the Columbians in particular send their Grade A coffee to Europe and the second grade to the US. But this breaks the pattern. Best coffee I've had in the US and better than most in Europe. Intelligenzia, Seattle, move over.
