Description: African Redbush (Rooibos) is a shrub with needle-like leaves grown only in South Africa. The bush is actually green, but oxidation and fermentation after cutting cause the leaves to turn red. Rooibos has a naturally sweet taste with 50 times the anti-oxidant properties of green tea. It is also naturally decaffeinated.
Brewing Instructions: Use on rounded tsp. of loose tea in a 6-8oz mug of hot water. Steep tea for 3-5 minutes. Longer steep time will produce stronger tea.
